It's actually a 1996-2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The more popular Chrysler-version had a crosshair grille. |

Not really "made for Europe", it's a US-spec imported Plymouth. |

Martin's car, I've dubbed it "Store Voyager" (to be spoken with a Danish/Swedish accent) -- Last edit: 2014-12-27 20:04:25 |

It's got a repeater - direct US-imports didn't get these. I remember these well growing up, while not as popular as the Chrysler Voyager, they were still officially sold. I even found one for sale. |

Typically there are two ways for a US car to be sold in other countries: through official dealer networks and licensed specialists. Cars from licensed specialists tend to be imported and slight modification are made for legal sale in whatever country its in (which is still a "Made for" situation, just a different avenue.) In some cases, manufacturers even sale modded barebones US models of their cars for a lower price tag (GM and Ford comes to mind) |

I don't know whether you realize this or not, but you've posted over 150 comments in the last day. That's 3 whole pages of comments. It's a bit much for the admins to keep up with and you're drowning out the other posters comments. |

Is this a Danish commercial plate? If so, searchable? Didn't know these were officially sold in Europe..Scandinavian countries only? |

Unfortunately the Danes usually erase plate data once a vehicle is scrapped or exported. The Plymouth Grand Voyager was officially sold in Norway 1990-1999. About 700 were sold, most in 1990, with 296 examples. Can't account for Denmark, but I imagine it was quite similar down there. |
