Whatever it is dates from 1934, '35 or '36 and Packards of that era did not have that style of fender lights.

I have looked at this one several times and I am still not sure just what it is. I suspect the side lights might be because it is a British specification car.

I have yet to find a pic of a Packard convertible that has the dip in the door that this car has.

this one looks to have the same dip in the door /vehicle_7822-Packard-Eight-1601-1938.html so it must be a Packard Eight or twelve convertible.

Also missing is the crease in the hood which lines up with the chape of the radiator - as seen in the link.

The styling is closer to that of a Hudson - http://www.hemmings.com/hcc/stories/2010/11/01/hmn_feature3.html - the only problem is the Hudsons in 1934 and '35 used suicide doors. 1934 Graham might be closer - http://www.flickr.com/photos/carphotosbyrichard/2692750158/

It is a 1936 Buick Special Convertible. '36 by the hood ornament, it looks like a Stylized Bird from a '36. '37 and up had lost the chrome grille as the bonnet grew. '35 Buick Series Forty Convertible Coupe had a different style ornament. And, yes, also a different body style and front fenders, but from the few frames they are hard to tell apart.

Does this help to the discussion Hudson vs Graham vs Buick?
