This is a 1946 2 litre (sports saloon) converted to tourer. Ex DLE 8459 - New Delhi. Car was shipped new to Simpsons of Madras in 1946. I still have the original log book. I made the windscreen frame myself. Original colour light green - still visible in places !

Hello!

I am the exhibition officer at Bletchley Park, we now own this vehicle and have it on display I would love to see a copy of the original log book as we are currently creating exhibition panels for it. I have heard that this was not a convertible originally? Perhaps you could confirm this? And if you could send a scan of the log book as a high resolution copy we would very much appreciate it. Finding information on this is very difficult.

Kindest Regards
