Sorry Mike, I think it can't be any kind of Renault with such a front. I m pretty sure answer is within Delahaye,Delage,Hotckiss choice. |

Ah, I should have checked more attentively before writing Yes, this is not a Renault, indeed. There have been Delahayes with the body of a Renault Viva Grand Sport (1939 Delahaye 168), but AFAIK these came only as sedan, not as limousine, and anyway, this is not one of those. Still I think this will be most probably a Delahaye (Delage had a much more formal grille, Hotchkiss' grille was clearly shaped like a horse-shoe). |
