The only legitimate Skyline in the film. The RB26DETT used in the Mustang was transplanted out of an S15 Silvia, which had received the transplant from a GT-R in the first place.

Actually the R33 GTR's model code is BCNR33. It's a bit confusing as R32 and R34 do not have the 'C'.

Also, why do you say it looks like a V-spec? As far as I'm aware the changes to V-Spec models are mechanical only.

Cogs is right about the model code.

The v-Spec did have a slightly lower (about 10mm) ride height (different spring/damper settings), as well as a computer controlled "active" rear LSD (A-LSD) instead of the mechanical one in the non v-Spec. From what I've read, the front-to-rear torque split was also upgraded with the capacity to shift torque to the front wheels more quickly. The difference only translates to marginal increases in on-track performance, and while the v-Spec is undoubtedly more desirable (being the top of the line mainstream model i.e. excluding special models like the N1, LM or 400R), some tuners think the added complexity of the A-LSD can be a hindrance, or more bother, instead of providing a significant lift in ability.

Getting back to this particular GT-R, it looks awesome in the flick, and the girls inside make it even better!
