Interesting picture of a rare 304 and not a more common 504. Sold during two year only in the USA, 1971 and 1972, in Sedan and Wagon form |

Are any survivors known? |

Sorry, but this car has a Belgian plate and by the background (shape of traffic sign, style of the brick-built house) the pic was obviously shot in Belgium. The owner had only mounted double round headlamps (they're looking like the usual European size) with the US-frames -- Last edit: 2011-10-13 00:42:11 |

According to Ward's Automotive, US sales figures were: 1971 - 2,410 1972 - 1,535 Any survivors would be extremely rare. Coupes like that one linked were not sold here, just the sedan and wagon, I believe. -- Last edit: 2011-10-13 00:42:13 |

I have pics of one from Oregon, that was on e-Bay in 2008, so there's at least one: |

Actually, at first glance I thought it was a 304, but I didn't know if they imported them to America since we did not have any U.S. spec ones listed before and did not really find anything after a quick Google search. I should have listened to my instincts and suggested it to be a 304 anyway. |

I thought we had another "Made for USA" version here. |

Ah! Finally a US-spec 304. Now I think we have all US-spec French models covered on our database. |

We've yet to receive a US-spec 405 station wagon on this site. |
