I think it's the same one as Beiderbecke Tapes but don't think that was the same as the 1st one in Beiderbecke Affair as comment on /vehicle_429867-Bedford-HA-1978.html (Tapes).

They all look different to me, rusting in different places. More rust on the bonnet in Tapes. Also here a Bedford badge for the first time.

/vehicle_91057-Bedford-HA-1978.html has a number-plate with a different font, for what that's worth. Ex-BT HAs were quite common, and it's entirely possible these are two or three different ones. Easily removable parts like the grille could be had in any scrapyard (that's where I got mine).

Yes - more changes than I'd realised since Tapes - number plate moved again, front edge of driver side wing now fairly intact, the greying-out on sides and rear door is different again, studs above the windscreen for a noticeboard. So 3 vans, one for each series ....

Could be ex-British Telecom, they had a large number of HA's.

I think that for the experts that's too obvious to mention. :)

Looks as if there was a special spec for BT known as HAE (PO), though not sure of details yet. One sold on ebay for £571 recently - Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" . yellow HAs could also be ex-British Rail http://www.flickr.com/photos/albertsbite/2814261324/ , though ladder mountings would mean BT. Howmanyleft has 84 HA vans left - including 6 HAE (PO)s - interesting how numbers have disappeared since about 3,300 HAs in 1994 - http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?q=bedford+ha .
