It's a 1984-85, in 1986, the taillights changed. |

I have never heard about this change. I've listed it as a 1986-87 due to the CHMSL, but this could be a case of a simple retrofitting. I searched a bit around on google, though, and I found several ones listed as 1986 and 1987 having the same taillights. Maybe the different taillights were only used on higher specs? |

Where is CHMSL in this car? Just curious. |

Behind the sticker reading university. Not the best shot, but it's there, I'm almost 100 % sure. I remember one particular frame where it was very well visible. |

The one in Weasel's link has the indicators on top. That Corolla is Canadien. |

Yes, I know it is Canadian, but I doubt Toyota made 10 types of CHMSL's... Edit: 1986 US Corollas with indicators at the top and CHMSL same like in the Canadian car above (and different one than in car in film): http://www.flickr.com/photos/blue387/4691305109/ Link to "classiccars.com" -- Last edit: 2012-03-24 12:03:09 |
