It was produced by UMM (Uzina Mecanică Mizil) as licensed version of soviet ATS-59G. Similar to TMA-83 - http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/TMA-83 (TAR - tractor de artilerie) |

Looks a bit too light to be a version of ATS-59G. I'd say, that rather TMA-83 was a version of ATS-59G, while this might be some Romanian development of AT-L. As for comment about being anachronistic - well, it's just bigger Steyr RSO concept |
