Leyland or DAF? Are they rare in Germany? |

Rather non-existent than rare. But still I think you're haeding into the right direction. Didn't the LDV-vans look similar? |

I'm almost certain this is a Leyland-Daf 300 or 400. IIRC the later Convoy had rear windows of two different sizes. |

I go for DAF too, LDV had different rear windows. |

The LDV 400 had exactly these windows, hinges door handle roofline and swage lines. Even part of the rear badging on the left hand door appears to be correct and the two number-plate lights. |

@ sunbar Sorry for that, i mixed it up with the LDV Convoy High Roof Van.... |

Yes the Convoy had the trendy dropped-down (off-side?) rear window with the badging taking up the space on the other door. |

For a while they had been very popular in the former DDR from 1990 on. IIRC 95% of all German imported DAF/LDV were sold there. |

Another one in Germany, maybe not so rare? /vehicle_197907-DAF-400-V400-1991.html |

Filmed in East Germany, so a bit more common. |
