The DoD runs schools for the children of US mlitary personnel stationed in Germany. I don't know if they use real American school buses, though. |

No, we don´t use American school busses. Maybe a few companies have one of these, but only for show reasons. |

When I lived there as a child in the 1970's-80's(And the son of a US Army MSgt!)they DID use these type buses,(And especially like the other '75-ish Yellow IH Bus...'88 was after 'my time'?)Though they were painted different colors? US Army were Olive Green ("The Green Monster") US Air Force were mostly Dk Blue. ("The Blue Goose") (US Navy does have White buses,though?) 'Uncle Sam' started buying local(German built....but the 'Berlin Brigade' had done it years before,though?) made buses & cars about 1980 as well? (They were Mercedes Buses,IIRC) |
