Specialty service Expedition. These versions have minimal luxury features, very baron. Strictly for tactical work use. Fitted with automatic ControlTrac four-wheel drive with two-speed dual range BorgWarner 4406 transfer gearbox and torque-biasing centre coupling-differential lock. A heavy-duty Traction-lok limited-slip rear differential (LSD) was available, and likely this special service utility has it. It was also optional on civilian Expeditions. |
