I agree that it is odd to see a Vauxhall in the US but there seems to be no doubt about its identity. Was it called Big Six or is it a 25hp? -- Last edit: 2011-08-15 00:54:13 |

My Vauxhall ads for 1933-1936 refer to Vauxhall Big Six ( six cylinder engine rated 20 hp or 27 hp).As from 1937 reference is Vauxhall 25 hp , this is because of the engine modifications on the large sixes in 1937 ,when only one 25 hp rated unit replaced the former 20 hp and 27hp |

This has been incorrectly identified as a Big Six. It's a Light Six DX. It was with one of the big studios back in the 40s and was subsequently acquired by a Mr Glennon who became a member of the Vauxhall Owners Club(UK)in the 70s. It is now back in the UK. |
