So, not a Classic, no?

No it is a Corsa. 2003+ are Classic by plate checks in Brazil .seems Argentina kept naming theirs Corsa Classic from plate checks....

Edit: I ran an 2006 Argentina earlier and it came back Corsa Classic.

However running 2003+ in Brazil seem to pull ‘Classic’ only... trunk badging on 2003-2004 say Corsa Classic with 2005+ saying Classic.
Argentina is a whole other monster...

Yes, those are a bit messy, but very interesting, at least to me, since I'm always been interested in models around the world based on older European cars, especially South American ones :D I think I read somewhere in Argentina the only Classic naming came later (maybe 2007 or so), I have to search if I remember correctly..
This one however is just Corsa ;)

I didn’t add Classic. Rather then fighting an anonymous admin I’ll take it out again but I’m sure it will pop up again. Brazilian plate checks will SAY when it is a Corsa Classic....I can post examples if we need to hash it out....

Corsa Classic debuted for 2003 MY in 2002 in Brazil. Trunk badging for Brazil was Corsa Classic for 2003-2004 and 2005-2010 (badges moved lower for 2009) in Brazil were Classic.

The logic is that when Corsa C came out, the older became Classic, at least in Brazil :)
On other markets, such as South Africa, the Classic nameplate identified the Sedan model IIRC

@Bux48. The same happened in US/CDN market. We received 2004-2005 Classic which was a 1997-2003 Malibu body style for Fleet only sales (You will see them when you search Chevrolet Classic as their VINs do not pull the Malibu name which is most likely the same case here if we had VINs to run). However, Brazil/Argentina do not have VINs available...only the plate checks.
Unless there is a Copart.Brazil?

Side note - 2008 Corsa Sedan C (not the B Classic) have lower badges. 2003-2007 seems to have higher trunk badges (we know the front changed).

Yes, this "Classic" thing for the previous generation of cars which remained on sale as cheaper alternatives happened sometimes also in Europe, think about the Fiat Punto Classic which overlapped for 5 years with its bigger successor Grande Punto, the same happened also with Renault Clio and Clio Campus/Storia and Peugeot 207 and 206/206+.
However don't know if there's a way to get the VIN for Brazilian cars

There is Copart Brazil:

Thank you for the link! Helps ID badging and face lifts. Indeed no VINs present. Maybe it is illegal to post that data? None of the used car sites list them either. We will just have to use the autocheck information. I posted the link on the forum so antp can add it to the “links” page here on this site.

Honestly don't know about the law, maybe is not legal indeed
