Has BOB 2000 plate - fake combination for the song title. Seems a normal silver RHD DB5 - very nice and shiny, and some sort of club grille badge. Shit song from an overrated shit singer. -- Last edit: 2012-12-11 22:17:33 (walter) |

..... = FKX 211C, chassis 1821/R. I have a theory, which may or may not work for DB5s about front indicator colour. Most UK domestic cars changed in early 60s from white (sidelight, which flashed as indicator) to orange (just indicator; sidelight function switched to 2ndary element in headlight or similar arrangement) - loads of examples of this change from BMC, Ford, etc happening well before mid-late 60s legislation confirmed it. It would be nice if we could pin down the change for DB5s (UK only - export was different circumstances), and this start-of-65 car becomes one piece of evidence. But I've no idea yet whether this will work, given the confusing identities of many DB5s on the site. |
