rioldcarguy ◊ 2013-03-07 06:03	Good catch, rjluna2. It's actually a '77. I know because I bought it as a parts car a few years after the movie was made. Very strong-running, dependable 350 V8, but lots of rust and the tranny was going. Got it for short money as the owner, named Al, listened to my radio show and knew I had a '76 Malibu Classic coupe worth fixing up. BTW, I remember getting a '76 grill with it. Al told me the original '77 grill (both years used plastic grills) broke when Dennis Franz kicked it, so he got a replacement. -- Last edit: 2013-03-07 06:07:52
