This is a 1971 Impala Custom Coupe. It’s for sure not a Caprice, and the trim on the bodyside and wheel openings tells me Impala, not a lesser Bel-Air. And FYI: There should be no mention of a ’71 2-door Chevy being a Biscayne, they were only 4dr sedans in ’71. |

No. Al has three different PLYMOUTH Duster models from the early 1970s, each in a different color over the course of the long-running series: one blue, another bronze / gold, and a third that is red. This is information reasearched off the Internet, I admit, although I have seen parts of the series and remember the "Dodge"....and not being a MOPAR guy, I did think the Duster was a Dodge....shame on me!!! I assume this 1971 Impala was another character's car and made only the one appearance. |
