Going from the point made in the link by rjluna, I think this could be a DeSoto Diplomat, even though it does not have the extra mouldings seen on similar cars. - Link to "www.1000-annonces.com" I suspect examples like this - http://www.kitfoster.com/images/2009-2-11_DeSotoDiploWeb-Large.jpg - with no V badge on the grille may be sixes.
