C-10 Fleetside. specifics might be hard to pin down exactly based on the modifications (~ aftermarket grille insert, later model wheels). i would lean toward silverado trim based on the wheel arch/side/below back cab window trim, and the two tone paint, but i'd bet that one or two members can narrow this down far better than i can. and ~ presuming that the headlight bezels and grille surround are original to this truck... |

There are no turn signals on the bumpers, likely indicating a 1983-1987 model. This one is equipped with a Fleetside bed. |

It is (or was, hasn’t been well looked after) a top-of-the-line Silverado. The luxury Cheyenne trim package which was slotted under Silverado, was dropped for '82. So its not a Cheyenne. This was mostly done as the two trim level packages were almost the same. Buyers seeking a full luxury oriented pickup usually skipped Cheyenne, opting for the Silverado trim. -- Last edit: 2011-06-27 19:25:09 |
