Others are listed as "Dual Ghia"

I used to own this wonderful car, with a dog inside and a suitcase in the trunk... it was made by Corgi Toys ;)

The Ghia 6,4 was built in cooperation with the Ghia related OSI

There was only one actual Dual-Ghia 6.4L made and it was a protype that a friend owned up until a few years ago.
Dual Motors decided not to manufacture (a combination of money and health problems) and Ghia of Italy decided to market them on their own.
Technically it is a Ghia 6.4L but obviously influnencd by the earlier Dual-Ghia and it's predisor the Dodge Firearrow and the Firebomb before it.

Is Dual-Ghia the right make name or is it just Ghia?

My dad still has one of these Corgi toys lying around at home, although it's not exactly in mint condition anymore (lost all of its tyres). I always used to think it was a nice design when I was a kid. He also still has the gold Corgi James Bond Aston Martin DB5 with the ejector seat (of course the little man got lost back when he used to play with it as a child)

It is Dual-Ghia.

Dual was the company who sold them and Ghia designed and built the bodies.

I think it is a Ghia. They produced and sold the car under the Ghia brand when Dual resigned from the project due to financial problems.
Here is a picture from the original Ghia sales brochure.

According to this Link to "www.carthrottle.com" only the prototype was called that. Production L6.4's were simply badged Ghia as Dual Motors sold the rights to Ghia soon after unveiling.

What about the others listed with that makes?
Does this only apply to the L6.4 ?
And which ones are prototypes in the few listed?

Edited: This must be the prototype https://www.conceptcarz.com/profile/13483,20459/1961-ghia-l64.aspx and here also Link to "www.carthrottle.com" identified as the prototype, so no prototypes here on imcdb. Applies to all L6.4's. Origin could be USA-Italy? Chassis built in Detroit then sent to Milan for the body and then back to Detroit for final assembly.

The other models on imcdb should stay as is, Convertible and D-500 are earlier so before Dual went away.

Origin is rather where the car was "studied".
For the made-in flag, we have to pick one of the two countries then.
If one of the two countries is better for the origin (Italy then, like currently?) we can still use the other one as made-in, so both countries appear in the end.

Any info out there why this is our only example with rectangular headlights??

Modified by George Barris.

"Barris touches included Euro-style oval headlights and a modified grille. Reportedly eight cars got the Barris treatment, though additional exclusivity hardly seemed needed."

So to conclude, by George Barris could be added as we have on some Ferraris? And as this only came out as a coupe there's no need for the coupe description on these /vehicle.php?id=1223633 https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1329849
