Not really, it looks a bit different. Somewhere around here we had a discussion about these Greek Threewheelers. There it was confirmed, that they were locally built. Before that, I thought, they were imported from Japan, because IIRC some of them, I've seen in 1993 on Corfu, had "Honda"- or "Mazda"-badges. One version -not only a single one, I've seen- of them had double round front lamps - whose chrome frame looks absolutely identical with that from the NSU TT P.S. In the far background on the right a Renault 8. |

ingo the Mazda I think you are referring is the T1200/1500 http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%A6%AC%E8%87%AA%E9%81%94T1500 right? From other part, besides AK Hellas I pointed, I found some others greeks three-wheeler builders as MEBEA: Link to "en.wikipedia.org" Styl Kar http://www.mlahanas.de/Greece/Info/Styl_Kar.html Dinap http://www.mlahanas.de/Greece/Info/DinapTrucks.html Dinap 1200 on the link picture Maybe 'medimanic' could help us... -- Last edit: 2011-06-16 21:07:25 |

Thanks for the nice links. Yes, the Mazda was the most common of them, back in 1993. I'm not sure, if the Styl Kar was the Threewheeler with the NSU TT-like headlamp-frame. Though they are looking very similar, I think, there was also one model, which had only one double front lamp Otherwise it was 18 years ago and I didn't made photos of them. Hmmm, the Styl Kar had the VW 1300-engine. Interesting to know, if anyone got the idea to try the Oettinger-kit |
