Pour moi, cela ressemble plus à une Ausin 1937 |

I'm pretty sure that is an Austin Big 7 of 1938-39 |

What was the next one in the Austin range? Between 7 and 12? |

It's an Austin 10, I think Clifton. Big Seven had pressed steel wheels. |

It is an Austin 10/4 Sherbourne, about 1935. The body was similar to the Lichfield body, however the Lichfield did not have the small windows behind the back doors; hence the Sherbourne was the more stylish and upmarket version. |

The 10/4 Sherborne came out in January 1936 and only ran for a year. The completely new Ten Cambridge was the replacement model. Most people find the sloping back ugly but it does make it completely different to all other Tens. (Sherborne - no "u") |

I liked the Sherborne (and believe my old car, CXR 370, survives in preservation - it used to feature in the ATDC's lists, although nearly came to grief during recovery as I recall). A good choice for the movie. It was Robert Shaw's anachronistic up-and-over garage door I couldn't forgive. |
