I think Greyhound probably did not want to be involved in Midnight Run, So I guess Universal decided to make up the fictitious Interstate Coach Lines name since Amtrak was already in the film and maybe Universal didn't feel quite at ease about having both Greyhound and Amtrak in the film together for some reason. |

This is an MC-9, which has 7 full rectangle windows on each side. |

The MC-8 had different style of side windows, Also, The roof over the driver's area & entrance area is lower than the roof over the main passenger area, Also, The aisle in the passenger area is slightly inclined. |
