I think it has to be a Taylor-Dunn, but what were the Taylor-Dunn models of the 80s or were they pretty much the same as today? |

Red Dwarf fans may recognise the taller man on the right as Mac McDonald, who played the Captain of Red Dwarf. I always thought Red Dwarf took a lot of inspiration from the Alien films, the Dwarf takes some design cues from the Nostromo, not to mention ideas like Stasis (Hypersleep) and the Polymorph (which had retractable jaws like the Alien did). |

I always thought the yellow Robo Forklift-Suit (like the one in the thumbnail capture above) featured in these films were kind of cool. |
