It looks like there is a Fiat Uno (or am I wrong) behind the men in a suit with the briefcase... a bit remarkable in a East European city of this time.... |

It was quite exotic, but in Prague and other major cities not. I remember that in Prague where I spent my childhood they where not rare in the 80s and where oficially imported via Tuzex. And this was costs of some cars in Tuzex in 1987/1988 Škoda: 105L-10.800,- TK; 120L-12.100,- TK; 130L-14.700,- TK; 130GL-15.300,- TK; Rapid-17.000 TK. Volvo 360 GL (1,9l benzin)-63.800,- TK. Fiat UNO 45 (1,0l benzin)-33.500,- TK. Peugeot 309 GLD (1,9l diesel)-56.000,- TK. Renault 21 (1,7l benzin)-53.300,- TK. VAZ 2105 (1,3l)-17.500,- TK;2107 (1,5l)-21.600,- TK. It was very expensive for ordinary people. White VW Beetle left of the Volga cab |

I dont know, because except fot the 3xx model it was only individual import, it was cca 200 cars per year (the 14x and 24x model) according to an article of a member of Volvo club CZ (but this article is not on their web anymore). |
