^I see a Mazda Protege and a blurry Kia Rondo (aka Carens) in the first thumbnail; the Rondo is not a big seller in the US. The second thumbnail has a Ford Aerostar and a Dodge Durango.

The spotlight/front bumper holes give this away as an old police car [P71].
Was the steering wheel visible?

Perfect! It has the updated steering wheel, making it a 1996-1997 model.

Though that as often it is not sure that they used the same car for both in & out shots (out shots are mostly stunts, like in the main picture where there aren't even passengers despite the fact that it is supposed to be)

I tend to observe them on a case-by-case basis and come up to an educated conclusion. In this case, the interior would be appropriate for the car shown in the main capture and the seat pattern and color match that of the main capture's car.
