1980 model, with correct grille trim and grille work. Would have been brand new. 1980 was the last model year for the original front end. The 1981 model year saw a redesigned front fascia. The facelift saw a new hood, front bumper, front fenders, grille trim, grille work and headlamps. The front end was smoothed over and bowed (like a ship's bow), while the hood was more sloped for better aerodynamics and better driver visibility. Some owners of previous models had complained that the long hood with the extended bulge made it more difficult to judge distance and reduced close-range visibility.
