I think the headlights, if they are the same as on the one in this picture: /vehicle_395550-Oldsmobile-1987.html . Also the name Micra wasn't used in Japan. |

Yes all Micra should be labeled as "made for [something]" actually, since it is not its original name... (same for many Japanese cars renamed even for Europe) |

Because this car was never sold in the US, this movie was filmed in Canada and faked plates are common in movies. Even if this was really registered in Connecticut, as the car was never sold there officially it would have started life in Canada and in Canadian spec before any Connecticutian owner took ownership of it. Therefore, made for Canada. |
