Indeed, it's a Simca 1200 in the "Especial" variant judging for the alloys and the vinyl roof. Also is the 1ª serie (1st series) by the non-recessed door handles and other features on the interior that can't be seen and that the 2ª serie (2nd series) would not be presented until September 1974 and the film was released in September 1973.
