2 litres, we can use a code 949 to group all Chrysler with this body: http://pentastar.free.fr/Chrysler.htm I will add it.

Fairly sure that this is 1973+my 2-litre (French-made)- the only type with the blue grille badge; 180's was red. By 76my 2-litre badge changed format to show Chrysler pentastar without blue elements and over-riders changed. However the C-pillar badge is not visible - is this real or a photo effect?

Glad we've got a code for these - does it include Spanish and Aus versions as well? Pre-launch code was C-Car as most development was UK-based, but as it was never made in UK [949] is more useful/accurate.

Done.

I see http://www.rootes-chrysler.co.uk/simca-cars/simca-929.html , indeed 949 had to be the final designation of the car or of the project.
To the 1307/08, 150 and Alpines etc. I've added once [C6] project code, maybe not the exact chassis number, but you know it is also to make the search more easy. I see now, Horizons are C2, perhaps it will be also useful to add it soon.

Excellent. And Solaras into C6 plus any Talbot Minxes or Talbot Rapiers lurking in the woodwork.

Yes, the Minxes etc. are in C6 "group", about the Solara I had some doubts... The same car technically, but original C6 project was a hatchback only...

Solara does not seem to have separate code - might have been a subcode like [C6a] or something but can't find any trace of it now, and it's only a bodywork variant rather than an engineering difference, so I definitely say go for [C6].

Ok, so [C6] has been added also to Solaras.
All Horizons are also C2 now.

Great to see Chrysler coherence in action. Interesting to press some of the buttons and see what it brings up. So for instance all Chrysler [C6] come up as one batch, Simca [C6] as another, and Talbot [C6] as a third. Can the database allow an option of bringing them all into a single super-group? and exclude other non-related makes which might use [C6] for something totally different? or are these practical ideas for the new database structure?

As for Horizons, you've found some I tried dating - I gave up after a few because it was difficult to stay consistent across versions, countries and the rapid series of creeping upgrades which Chrysler liked to play, so contradictions started to appear. The other problem was lots of short-lived special editions which put stuff like wash/wipes or tints on the "wrong" version - not quite as bad as eg Fiestas, but I could only find details for UK versions (LE, S, Ultra, Summertime, Special, GLE, GLX, Pullman; plus the UK LD diesel which had more trim than LS but not as much as GL). So good luck ....

Well, as you perhaps tried, the most you can do in such case, is to search only by the "chassis code", but to...

is like for today unfortunately not possible.

I have a dream, as someone once nearly said, that one day all men will be able to pick out all the Avenger versions or the Hunter family in one super-search across the makes, models, funny names and countries .....

More in this direction could be "imagine all the people..."
