Shouldn't this be Tata-Daewoo? -- Last edit: 2006-06-22 20:28:11 |

All the movie was made in China. |

IIRC Tata only bought Daweoo Trucks last year. |

How do you know it's Daewoo? There are many, many manufacturers in China which make this truck model. This is a very popular basic truck there. -- Last edit: 2006-06-22 14:57:03 |

The logo on the front reminded me the Daewoo logo |

It could also be a 'T' -> Tata? |

Tata doesn't sell trucks in China. Two biggest truck manufacturers in China are FAW (First Auto Work) and DongFeng. These companies among many others make this truck type. |

It's a FAW, using a cab designed by Mitsubishi in the 80's. |

I found the the truck range at the FAW website, but I can't view each truck. Maybe someone with a better browser will have more luck. http://www.faw.com/webcontent/products.jsp?pros=fl_kc_zk_contant.htm |

I checked both FAW and DongFeng and they use huge logos in their trucks but this truck has a tiny logo. |

This one: http://www.modelenium.co.uk/models/FAW-TRUCK--CHBO050.aspx Unfortunately no type is mentioned. |

Its logo in this movie may be "made for movie" logo! |

The FAW truck is a CA1258P1K2L7T1 (or perhaps the name should be shortened to CA1258, seeking as the letter designations are for length and body styles): Link to "www.faw.com" |
