Tata used to have a licensing agreement with Mercedes. I've seen Tata versions of Mercedes vans on television. |

TATA had license to build trucks in india in 50s. The famous 312 truck. but tata copied the 6 cylinder engine that void the contract. Now tata uses cummins engine. Mercede cars are assembled in TATA plant in Pune. |
