I'm trying to locate the present whereabouts/status/history of this vehicle. In the film it had the registration EVN734C, but this does not come up on any of the online databases I have tried. Either the vehicle no longer exists, it had its registration changed or it was faked for the film. Chassis number is SHS349C (as above). It also once belonged to Jimmy Savile, OBE KCSG, so following up on that lead. Any other info/images gratefully accepted. Regards, Ian. |

"Thomas' Rolls Royce actually belonged to Jimmy Savile and used to be white but was painted black for the film...... Delivered Jan 65". Also had plate C111 at some stage [but now on a Merc 600SL] - Link to "sites.google.com" . Saville was also photographed with a white/cream SC3 Chinese Eye with JS 954 plate - Link to "www.gettyimages.co.uk" - apparently Feb 65 - and Link to "i4.mirror.co.uk" , but he used this plate on several other of his RRs as well, and it's now on a Hyundai Santa Fe. |
