Unlike some other folk on this site, I have no allegiance to the local beer of where I grew up. Ansell's was absolute piss. |

Though I'm preferring a Czech brewed product (and usually drink it out of a British Pint-glass), I still have a little reminder of my childhood-town's beers in use. As a pencil-holder. From the four breweries, written on it, is just one left now. Its bankrupcy is near-termly expected, too. The thing, where it's lying on, is for pens, too. Originally stolen by myself personally years ago |

P.S. The pic on it is a wrong symbol. Terrible, even how many beer-knowers are wrong with it It's a billy goat, "Bock" in German. It shall stand for Bock-Bier ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bock ) But this is not correct. The term is attributed the name of the little town Einbeck in Lower Saxony, where in the Middle Age, since 1240, a strong beer, "Ainpöcksch" in ancient German, "Einbecker" nowadays, was brewed. This malapropism is inthe world since centuries... |
