Or just one of those prop ambulances with the front of a newer model? |

I'm already convinced it's the 2008 or later E-Series, no lower than an E-350. |

According to here it's an old Wheeled Coach ambulance body remounted on a newer light duty E-Series chassis just for use as a movie prop. |

So? I've seen plenty of old truck bodies mounted on newer trucks. |

What do you mean "So?" It was an extremely relevant comment As soon as I saw this ambulance I thought of the link that poke had provided. The chassis belongs to a 2008 E-350 Super Duty as it still has the older-style dash and has to be an E-350 as it is a SRW model. |

Yes, but that doesn't make it any less of a genuine vehicle. With all the talk about it strictly being used as a movie prop, I was concerened it was going to be written off as "Made for Movie." -- Last edit: 2011-03-20 16:42:17 |

I don't think that was ever a concern. That's why it is just fine being described as an "Ambulance" under the class category as technically that is what this vehicle is. |
