If it has whitewalls, I'll bet they're scuffed! |

1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser looked like Link to "www.examiner.com" , with a different shape of the bumper and (AFAIK) always the Continental kit spare wheel. the bumper seen here identifies this convertible as a 1958 model, and in 1958 Turnpike Cruiser was a subseries of the Montclair and only available as hardtop coupe and hardtop sedan. In 1958 there were three Mercury convertible models: 2292 x Monterey [76A], 844 x Montclair [76B] and 853 x Park Lane [76C]. Montclair and Park Lane had a heavier side trim on the front fender; I'm pretty sure this is a Monterey. Edit: Ah, sorry commander, I was very slow with my answer... -- Last edit: 2011-03-11 22:20:13 |

As Petter Solberg once said: It's not the fart that kills, it's the smell! When he tried to translate: (Det er ikke farten (the speed) som dreper, det er smellet (the crash))! ![]() -- Last edit: 2011-03-11 22:34:02 |
