Well, the '58 Dodge-models Royal, Coronet and Custom Royal had (the same?) DeSoto-chassis. I think, it can't be a Custom Royal, because the car on this picture has more pillars. Besides that, the rim (hard to recognize on the picture) might look like one of the early model '58 Royal. A criteria to tell whether it's a Coronet or a Royal would be the rear view mirror, but... |

I'm gonna guess those are '55 Chevy front fender lips mounted onto the front fenders too! No doubt another Barris built movie car. It didn't last long in the film anyway - ended up on its roof. |

Lancer four-door hardtop body; the pillared sedan had a different roofline. The 'pillars' we see are part of the rollcage. |
