This is when it's first shown to Tommy Dixon A.K.A "Tornado Tommy". this is a pretty neat truck isn't it, storm chaser wise anyway. in the movie they say that they added extra pounds of Ballast to keep it on the ground during storm chasing and not topple over. The FX4 package is Fords Off Road Package. It also includes some cosmetic items. FX4 Off Road Package: 5.4 Triton V8-Standard Automatic Transmission-Standard Electronic Shift on the Fly 4WD-Standard Black H Bar Grille FX4 Off Road Decal Group Fog Lights Special "Aircraft Style" FX4 gauge pod 18" Machined wheels with BFG Rugged Trail Tires. Skid Plate package (Front Suspension skid, transfer case skid, gas tank skid) Textured Black Fender Flares Paint to match bumpers, either montone or two tone. (not chrome) All 4x4 Ford F-150s have a factory 1.5" lift in the front and 3" lift in the rear. Being a new body style F-150 FX4 owner myself, the one above looks pretty neat.
