2 same buses?

It is not a 'Setra' bus. They use (used) an encircled 'K' as a logo.

Why 'K'?

For Kässbohrer.
You do not see Kassbohrer-Setra busses in the Netherlands? They are quite common here in Belgium (I see busses of that make all the time), I thought it would be the same in NL.

I have seen some Setra's. I'll keep my eyes open .. ;)

The body/carrosserie looks like manufactured by Marcopolo. So this one could be from the Marcopolo Viaggio series. If I have identified the letter logo at the front right, this one is on a Volvo chassis (B12?).

Marcopolo is a Brazilian company, but has a daughter in Portugal. They seem to prefer Mercedes-Benz, but also use chassis from other manufacturers.

For the record, there are Setra buses in the USA too.

I know. But Kässbohrer Setra / EvoBus Setra - since a few years part of the DaimlerChrysler empire - have a different design.

Marcopolo looks a little similar, but I found a much, much closer match:

Sunsundegui Sideral or Sideral 2000, on a Volvo chassis.

Quite a tongue-breaking name, the manufacturer is from the Navarra region of Spain.

DaimlerChrysler brands and products Just if you're interested. They list the "Setra" name in words with an incircled "K" by the name. What country did Setra originate? DC also has Western Star (fine producer of 1970's trucks), Freightliner, Sterling, Thomas Buses, Orion buses and Mitsubishi Fuso commercial trucks and buses.

I searched through a really huge pile of bus picture archives now, and the Sunsundegui Sideral 2000 H on a Volvo base is by far the closest match - < 99%.

The Sideral is the only one where those things match: bumper design, position/design of fog lights, number and design of main lights, overall front design, position of air condition on roof. And especially the end of the front window / start of the roof, which is very low. This "low" roof is rather unique for the Sunsundegui Sideral. I found only very few European buses/coaches which share this feature.

The only detail that doesn't match 100% is the part between the front window and the bumper. I found it in a "dark glass" look on the pictures I came across - this painted one seems to be something special.

I think that it is a Sunsundegui. The first models like this produced the dome came down very far until it was later changed. Although the windscreen does come down lower on the newer models

By the front lights is 1998+, Sideral 2000 was for the one with the front lights like this one: https://www.flickr.com/photos/buspmi/28134525983 , so the one in this page is just Sideral as is older model
