Olds 442 or Dodge Challenger. |

Right, it's a "typical US car" like in "Married with children": a 1974 Plymouth Duster or a 1974 Dodge Challenger |

Yup, typical US car, great looking and oozing raw power. 1974 Dodge Challenger |

Frontend looks like a 1968/71 Chevrolet Nova, C pillar looks like a 1968/69 Chevrolet Chevelle, and the rear quarter looks like a 1971 Dodge Demon. |

Na, its all Mopar: Dodge Challenger to be precise, 1972 the year. |

That looks nothing like a Challenger. I second the '74 Duster. |

1969-72 Chevrolet Nova. |

http://www.mopars.com/DusterMania/timmurray1.jpg Looks a lot like a Dodge Duster to me.(Although it seems the animators messed up the colouring on the roof a bit). -- Last edit: 2006-06-15 13:59:48 |

I'll go for a 1970 Chevy Nova. |

I'm pretty sure now that the animators made it to look like a generic, small, American car from the mid 1970's. -- Last edit: 2006-06-16 03:35:05 |

This is definitely a stylized 68-72 chevy nova. you can tell by the bumper details as well as overall profile. The simpsons have shown mopar vehicles before (I can recall a charger daytona offhand) and again, it had obvious details as to what it was. |

Not a Nova...'67 Chevrolet Bel-Air or Impala |

it`looks like a hybrid car ( by the body) front end from the Nova, and the rear more like a Dart coupe/ Duster of the 70s |

I still say this is a '67 full size Chevy, either Impala or Bel-air etc. The quarter window isn't quite right, and it doesn't have the curves on the tops of the fenders, but the front and rear edges are dead on, (look at the side of the grill!) as are the wheel openings. Here's a pic I think will work. link -- Last edit: 2007-07-06 23:26:32 |
