I guess this car was the one used for FIA endurance speed/distance records in 1966 at Yatebe circuit, as no racing numbers. Quote "In October 1966 the 2000GT proved its class in an endurance run of 78 hours .... 13 international records and 3 world records in the 1500-2000 cc class, the 72 hours record (with an average of 206.02 km/h), the 15,000 miles record (with an average of 206.04 km/h) and the 10,000 miles record (with an average of 206.18 km/h)." from http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/476/Toyota-2000GT.html . Kyosho did an excellent 1-43 model (#03032y) http://2000gt.net/Toys/Kyosho/Kyosho02.php which was yellow with dark green bonnet; the model has minor bodywork differences from other Kyosho 2000GTs such as squared openings for the retractable lights, so the real one was probably pre-production.

Update: apparently the car now on display in the Toyota museum is a later replica as the original was destroyed. This raises the question whether this 1967 footage is the original car or the replica, which can not be answered.

This is the original. The replica was built from one of Carroll Shelby's 1968 SCCA cars.
