1959 Cadillac DeVille? |

Most likely. On the "Simpsons Hit and Run" game this car can be driven out of the wall and on the street. |

The back of the door opening appears real close to the rear fender, I wonder if this is another one of those 4door Cadillac convertibles? |

No, its a Cadillac El Dorado, like the one Blingy posted. |

I agree with "Blingy" and "Neokortex". It's definitely a "cartoon copy" of a '59 "Eldorado Biarritz" [100% sure ...of the artist's intent]. The "Series 62" would have a fender spear cutting the lower half of the body in two. |

About 4-door convertible who never existed, what are you all thinking of this. To be honest, it's supposed to be one of Tito's cars. I never saw that car and I never heard about it!!! http://cgi.ebay.de/CADILLAC-de-Ville-1960-Cabrio-..... Interesting to save the pictures. -- Last edit: 2006-06-29 11:10:21 (antp) |

Cadillac never made a 4-door convertible. In my opinion, this is an amateur conversion, made from a "Series 75" sedan, by removing the roof (except near the windshield header). The rear bumper insert has been changed and appears to come from a "Series 60 Special" sedan or an "Eldorado" model. Ghia of Italy made one of these 4-door parade cars for Marshall Tito; this is NOT that car. |
