Are those huge bumper guards with headligth washers enough to call it a modell made for Norway ? -- Last edit: 2011-01-24 20:33:04 |

At least I can see it has a repeater on the front fender. |

But head lamp washers weren't mandatory for Norway, or? The side indicators are the only specific "Made for N"-parts, I know. |

All Fords sold new in norway in 1978 had headligth washers, most other countries only had that on spesific models. But I dont think that it was a special norwegian item, so I asked. I had a 1980 Ford Granada and if I saw one with out headligth washers I knew at once that it was imported used to Norway. |

I think mud-flaps were mandatory in Norway for some time as well (it's not anymore). |

It was mandatory in 1976, I remeber they mounting them before mounting licence plates when my father bougth a brand new Kadett. I remeber that there was drawings explaining the rooles with how much of the tyre that could be visible from a certain distance and angel. When I got my driving licence in 86 Im almost certain that that rule was out of the way. I worked in a autorepairshop in 87 and then Im sure that there was no mud-flaps mandatory for cars up to 3,5ton. -- Last edit: 2011-01-24 21:10:02 |
