Not a Serie VI but Serie V, with "sharped rear wings" |

Actually it is the almost identical Austin A55 Cambridge Mk.2 [ADO9A] (1959-61). Note the lower position of the boot lid trim, the side trim and the lower end of the rear lights. I agree with the Austin, but side chromes doesn't match with the A55, it's rather an A99 Westminter 1960 |

Désolé, Jean-Marc, Alexander a raison; c’est une A55 Cambridge. The side chromes are unusual, but the higher fins and the tinsel under the tail-lights are unmistakably not an A99. |

Looks really like the french Peugeot 404 (normal, it's the same designer) |

IIRC the designs Farina supplied to BMC and Peugeot were even more similar; Peugeot left theirs pretty much intact, while BMC mucked about with theirs. Result: the 404 was a much more attractive car than the ADO9s. |

An A55 cambridge mk2 deluxe.I would think that a full length body strip was on the single tone deluxe. duo tone cars had trim separating the top colour along rear wing and part of the rear door. |

... or it's 1959+ Morris Oxford S5 [ADO9M]. |
◊ 2011-10-16 13:41 |
The 59+ Oxford had slightly different treatment to the bezels. more chrome underneath the lens on the cambridge as on this car. Another clue is that the oxford would have had a separate reflector below the main lens similar to the wolseley 15/60. Early Cambridge rear lights were fitted to all countryman and traveller estates untill the end. |

Well argued. Cancel Morris suggestion. |
