The highlight is over the car on the left. I think it's a 1974 Buick LeSabre convertible. Maybe the same one that's appeared in a couple recent movies: /vehicle_343580-Buick-LeSabre-1974.html and /vehicle_284946-Buick-LeSabre-1974.html |

Seems that in 1974 only, the convertible was in the LeSabre Luxus series which then became the LeSabre Custom series in 1975. I have found this same brown convertible in several other movies /vehicles.php?make=Buick&model=LeSabre+Luxus&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on. The cars on the main picture and in your first link are 1974 LeSabre Luxus but the car in your last link is a 1975 LeSabre Custom. The grille, header panel and headlight bezels are different between both years. The optional cornering lights were redesigned and relocated in 1975 and in 1974, if the car wasn't equipped with them, the grille motif continued on the sides of the front fenders. At the rear, the taillights also changed (the 1974 have wider taillights that extend to the licence plate). The portholes on the 1974 are located on the hood while those on the 1975 are on the front fenders. The interior was also changed (dashboard, door panels and seats). |
