'99+ actually. This appears to be a special model for the South American market, as it is a Regular Cab, but also a short bed. |

Yep. These were built on Brazil. They also do not carry the Super Duty nameplate like our US/CDN models. Mexico I'm unsure how they were labeled but I hope to find out. [P254] as the chassis was the same. |

Who keeps adding Super Duty?!?! These Brazilian models do not carry the nameplate....please comment instead of randomly changing it. Or provide proof. |

2001 was actually the first model-year for these trucks in Brazil. They switched over to the 2005-2007 face at some point, I believe it was 2008 or 2009, but I can't be sure as the front-end conversion appears to be popular on used trucks in the market. Engine suppliers changed from MWM to Cummins for 2006. 2011 appears to be the final model-year for the F-250 pickup, while the F-350 and F-4000 chassis-cabs continued through 2019. For those interested, here's a detailed walkaround of a 2001 F-250 with only 115 kilometers. A very nice example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjF61Pxxpas&t=429s -- Last edit: 2019-11-09 23:21:00 |
