Correct. We know it's a Champion owing to the smaller headlamp rims and unique Champion hood ornament. Note also this is a late '50 as the headlamp rims are chromed. Early season ones were painted body color in both the Champion and Commander lines. Car is missing its bumper guards. That would have been another way to differentiate. The Champion had narrower, taller guards while the Commander had shorter, fatter ones. All this changed in '51 when there was virtually no exterior difference between the 2 lines owing to the launch of the new Commander V-8 engine.
