The one on the left looks like a short wheelbase Land Rover (series 88?) |

Is that a guess? |

This one did keep me busy for a while -- therefore it really deserves its own page! ![]() Not yet convincing enough for a page of its own? Okay ... you asked for it ... ![]() This image tells most of the story: ![]() At the bottom edge the door hinges can just be identified. They are Series II/IIa. Also the hinges of the bonnet and those of the windscreen are Series II/IIa. But ... the hinge on the bulkhead, to which the windscreen hinge is attached, is definitely Series III. ![]() What do I make of that? My theory is as follows: Unlike the outer panels the bulkhead is made of steel. After 20 odd years it might has deteriorated and a new bulkhead was fitted, but this time one of a Series III. It is not possible to tell whether it is a SWB (88") or LWB (109"). Any chance to get a side view? Even a blurred one would be okay. -- Last edit: 2006-06-03 22:38:41 |

Interesting, but it definitely isn't. But now we can at least guess that it is a 109", too. |

1973 through 1976 Chevrolet C/K-Series Fleetside. Might be a K-10 or K-20, don’t know for sure. |
