vilero ◊ 2010-12-22 13:04	Merged here in only one page all the 1948+ Austin FX3 Taxi. Not only are used a lot in the movie but, as well, there are two long scenes involving these cars. One of them more than 10 minutes long, with 3 same Austin Taxis and very funny.

Sunbar ◊ 2019-07-24 21:49	'LYO 362' appears on two different vehicles, a USA studio-owned FX3 taxi and in the London Street scenes as a 1955 (new rear lights and roof turn indicators) FX3. Main picture replaced with better quality but same scene. Main picture and thumbs 1, 9 and 11 are all filmed in 'Little Europe' on the backlot of Universal Studios USA with studio taxis having oversized roof mounted indicators so the registration number may not belong to that taxicab. However without a rear view its not possible to confirm a better date than 1948 for the USA shot scenes. Almost all FX3 taxis used in the London scenes were after 1955 (roof mounted indicators) however registration numbers were duplicated with those shot in the USA so may not be genuine.
