It is a Opel Rekord made in Brazil. Engines available were 2.5 litre and 3.8/4.1 litre which made opala not only the quickest car in Brazil, but also the unsafiest. This model is around 77-78. First series had Opel Rekord tailights (very similar) with separate reverse lamps. The second serie showed these Corvette-like tailights and the final series it was a large tailight (see L'allenatore nel pallone)and you will see it. |

Boom bob! Right on the money. BKS-1114 GM Chevrolet Opala Cor: Marrom - Ano: 1977 Itapecerica da Serra - SP Now....we have some coupes listed as just Opala and some listed as Opala Cupe. Seems by the plate the former is accurate. |
